Hi Tracy,
that error probably means you've not installed the release into "/star",
this is a requirement for the OS X releases. Just add an appropriate
softlink to fix this. For instance if you have unpacked the release into
"/Users/beck/star", you'd run:
sudo ln -s /Users/tracy/star /star
