Hi Clare
We use
Iron/Transferrin x 3.98 = % saturation
Transferrin x 26.2 = TIBC

Subject: Transferrin saturation
I am interested to hear from anyone providing a calculation of
transferrin
saturation, from measurement of iron and transferrin, as to what
molecular
weight they are using for transferrin in their calculation as references
state
anywhere from 75 kDa to over 90kDa.
Many thanks
Clare
