Salary - Lecturer up to £36,912 pro rata, Senior Lecturer up to £42,791 pro rata
The Northern Film School, at Leeds Metropolitan University, is one of
the UK's longest established, leading schools in practical film and
moving image production and screenwriting, at all levels from
Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) in Production to an MA (Production)
and SkillSet accredited MA (Screenwriting). All of our courses foster
critical and contextual understanding, collaborative working and
social awareness.
Candidates should have knowledge and experience of the role of the
writer in the current film and television industries and be able to
demonstrate sound evidence of recent professional practice, hold an
honours degree or have equivalent industry experience, and be able to
demonstrate evidence of secondary skill in one or more of the
following: directing, cinematography, sound design and/or recording,
producing and post production, electronic imaging, production design,
animation.
