Dear ALLSTAT,
I've been shown the results of a two treatment (A vs. B) crossover trial
where patients were randomised to one of two treatment sequences - ABAB
or BABA.
The outcome measure is a binary variable (a certain event occurs - or
not - during each of the four treatment periods).
There are missing data - quite a few patients yielded no information for
one or more of the four treatment periods.
Carryover (of any kind or order) is unlikely to be an issue on clinical
grounds, and can probably be ignored.
I'm at something of a loss as to how best to analyse this - any advice
would be gratefully received.
Regards & thanks,
Sean
