It was reported on the BBC last week that some SAT papers have still not
been marked, *and the pupils concerned were treated as having failed.*
That has clear implications for the pupils, and for the schools that are
rated by their SAT results. Does anyone have a definitive source for
this approach? If true, it represents as extraordinary lack of
understanding of data handling and missing data.
