Dear all
There is a group of toxicologists who meet on a quarterly basis. This is a
seperate group than the "London Toxicology Group" although the 2 are not
mutually exclusive.
As well as education, part of the function of the group is to set self-regulation
of standards and guidelines for those practicing forensic toxicology.
At the last meeting there was a significant lack of representaion of NHS labs
who provide this service. If guidleines are set, then it will be useful for the
NHS labs to have the input into these.
Any lab who is providing either post mortem toxicology or forensic work should
have input into thie group.
If you would like more details please contact either myself
([log in to unmask]) or Gail Cooper ( [log in to unmask]) for
further information.
