medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
"One problem with S. Paolo is that it burned in tne 19th century & had to be rebuilt."
Tom, I'm not sure what "problem" you're referring to. If it's that SPflM is not medieval, loads of stuff on medrelart isn't either. Some (Rosso Pompeiano) isn't medieval or religious. And SS. Cosma e Damiano, also recently mentioned on "Saints," has bits and pieces ranging from the archaeological dig visible through a glass wall at the back of the church to very Renaissance (and later) decorations. The website is there for the taking or the leaving. I'm happy to notice that it's getting quite a few "takes."
I'll redo the "Welcome" message to be sure no one thinks all albums are exclusively religious and/or medieval.
All best,
MG
