ARCHIVIST (SAINSBURY ARCHIVE)
Circa £26,000 p.a. plus final salary pension scheme, for at least 6 month
maternity cover
We are looking for experienced information professional to manage the
Sainsbury Archive, its collections, procedures and its services to users. You
will also assist with the running of the Sainsbury Study centre at Museum in
Docklands by facilitating public access to archival material and managing the
study area, together with other Archive and Library staff.
You will have significant experience of archive work in an archive, library or
museum environment and a qualification in archive administration or a
comparable professional area. You will be highly organised with good time
management skills and excellent written and oral communication skills. You will
possess demonstrable staff management and budgeting skills and have
experience of working with archival and database systems (preferably CALM or
a comparable museum, library or archive application).
