We are currently seeking 2 Statisticians (1 Trainee and 1 experienced) to join a reputable pharmaceutical company based in Buckinghamshire. In this role you will contribute towards increasing the company's financial results and the appropriate use of the company's products by providing statistical expertise for clinical trials, including protocol design, study management, data analysis, reporting, presentation and publication.

- GRADUATE Statistician:-
Salary: £25,000PA - £28,000 PA
Requirements: You will have a Masters Degree in Statistics, or a BSc degree with relevant experience within the Clinical field. Your degree will ideally have a medical or clinical focus, or you will have gained some experience within the pharmaceutical/healthcare field.
- Statistician-
Salary: up to £32,000 PA (depending on experience)
Requirements: This role would suit an experienced statistician at the early stages of their career. This is a varied and challenging role where you will be given the opportunity to grow and develop within a small Biometrics team.
Benefits: Include 25-28 days holiday, private healthcare and pension scheme.
Duties include:
- perform sample size calculations
- write relevant sections of Clinical Study Protocols and review all sections of Clinical Study Protocols
- advise on and review the design of Case Report Forms
- review the database set-up in terms of the format and content of SAS datasets provided by data management.
- decide on data validation checks that are necessary, in conjunction with the data manager and relevant clinical personnel.
- write statistical analysis plans, obtaining input from the relevant clinical personnel.
- supervise the statistical programming work of a Statistical Programmer.
- perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data.
- perform programming of clinical trial data, usually with support from a Statistical Programmer dependent on resources.
- write the Statistical Appendix to the clinical study report.
- write the statistical sections of the Clinical Study Report and review all sections prior to its circulation for management review and approval.
- assist in producing presentation material and publications of clinical trial data.
