Dear All,
Time for a discussion about mentoring and coaching? Let's see what we can
do together?
It's been too long since we had conversation flowing & I'm getting
withdrawal symptoms!
Theme One:
Many coaches have coach supervisors. Might mentors benefit from having
supervisors too?
Theme Two:
If HE training largely consists of pump prime sessions, what about mentors'
development?
Theme Three:
If mentors develop their own learning theories to inform their practice, is
this sufficient?
Theme Four:
Would research in mentoring and research in coaching be useful for mutual
enrichment?
Theme Five:
Mentoring and coaching are the same. We waste research distinguishing
between them?
Do post to any of these themes or add others in the subject line of your
email to this list.
You have probably guessed I am deliberately playing devil's advocate with
some of these!
Enjoy!
