Hi Dianne and Hi Everyone
re. Now, might you explain/ share .. what was informing you to take that step?
With pleasure! I am embarking on a three year study of the use/usefulness of
web-based resources as a means to elicit, represent and disseminate
practitioners' learning. This is something that has been the focus of my
submission in preparation for Stage 4 of the GTC Teacher Learning Academy
scheme too. It is central to collaborative research I have been undertaking
with colleagues in Japan who are teacher and nurse educators-as-researchers.
It seems to me... that if I can begin to understand my own practice in terms
of mentoring, coaching, teaching and researching I should be better able to
investigate others' practice. At least I hope that I will have insights into
the kinds of questions to ask others about their use of web-based resources.
Soooo.... starting from Educator know thyself. I venture on,
With excitement at the prospect of learning!
Thanks for your question, Dianne,
Sarah

the wonderful SIG session we held last April.
