Hi Steph,
Just back from the ICAZ Bird Bone Meeting in Groningen where the
ravens/corvids got loads of attention. There are two raven skeletons in
the Roman site of Springhead. One is in the context of the sealing of
the road leading from the waterfront to the sanctuary complex and one is
on the bottom of a 4.5m deep shaft located at the entrance of the
enclosure around the sanctuary complex.
Best wishes, Jessica

Does anyone know of any Iron Age or Roman sites (other than Danebury!!)
where raven remains have been found?
Thanks for any help,
Steph
