Camden's "Remains" preserves some acrostics in honour of Robert Sidney,
second earl of Leicester, and his wife Dorothy. The author was George
Tache, about whom I cannot find out anything. Does anybody have a clue
as to who he was, whether he wrote any other verses, etc. etc.?
Gratefully, Germaine
