Camden's "Remains" preserves some acrostics in honour of Robert Sidney, second earl of Leicester, and his wife Dorothy. The author was George Tache, about whom I cannot find out anything. Does anybody have a clue as to who he was, whether he wrote any other verses, etc. etc.?
