12 month contract in the first instance (potential of follow on 3
year contract). Based in Milton Keynes.
PSSRI is a world-leader in the development of instrumentation for
spaceflight.
ExoMars: The Ultraviolet and Visible Spectrometer is an instrument for
the European Space Agency's ExoMars mission to Mars in 2013. You will work
as part of a small team to design, develop and test the UVIS spectrometer
through to final delivery of the instrument.
We are seeking a highly motivated project officer, with good written and
spoken communication skills. You will be an excellent scientist or engineer
and able to work in a collaborative manner. You will ideally possess a
degree in engineering or science, and have experience with optical
instrument design and electronics.
