Culture24 is looking for several new members of staff to join our Brighton-based team. We're currently rebuilding our publishing system, relaunching our websites and scaling up to take on a more strategic role within our sector. This is an exciting period of change for us and these are great opportunities for the right people. The roles are:

You are an experienced web writer/editor with a passion for arts and culture. You'll have a good working knowledge of the curriculum and lots of ideas for ways to involve, entertain, inspire and inform our online visitors. You will be responsible for planning, writing, editing and uploading content on our award-winning children's website, Show Me (www.show.me.uk <http://www.show.me.uk/> ), and for a brand new teachers' section on our 24 Hour Museum (www.24hourmuseum.org.uk <http://www.24hourmuseum.org.uk/> ) site.

Staff Writer <http://www.24hourmuseum.org.uk/downloads/Staff%20Writer%20-%20Application%20form%20and%20info.doc>
You are a talented and enthusiastic full time online journalist to join a small team covering UK-wide museum, arts and heritage stories on www.24hourmuseum.org.uk <http://www.24hourmuseum.org.uk/> . You need to be a good all-rounder with strong news writing and subbing skills and an eye for a good story. You will need to turn your hand to everything from online editing and production to researching and producing reviews, news and longer features. Training in our systems will be provided.
£17,000 - £20,000 pa

You are an office and finance superhero with a passion for arts, culture and order. You'll need to be enthusiastic, organised and able to take the initiative, using your problem solving skills to keep things running smoothly. Working as part of our team of ten, you will be responsible for all aspects of the running of our small, busy office in central Brighton. You will also support our Chief Executive Jane Finnis, keeping track of all financial transactions and budgets, as well as general admin duties for meetings, communications and company matters.
£20,000 - £24,000 pa
About Us: Culture24 is a not-for-profit digital cultural publishing organisation with core funding from MLA. Other funders are DCSF, Arts Council and DCMS. Culture24 works with museums, galleries, libraries and archives across the UK to promote arts and culture online. We work with a wide range of partners across on digital content provision, strategy and best practice.
