Seems that this discussion would need to be prefaced by a theoretical
discussion of the nature of the notion of genre. One problem with
Carroll I think is his strongly Aristotelian approach to genre, which
makes the notion more static than it should be (his propositionalist
intellectualism also may cause problems here).
