medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
For Kalamazoo, May 2009 (the International Congress on Medieval
Studies thereat), whose general CFP is now on-line at
http://www.wmich.edu/medieval/Assets/pdf/congress/Sessions09.pdf (try
http://www.wmich.edu/medieval/congress/sessions.html if that is too
long), I am calling for papers on
Bodleian MS Digby 86: Texts and Contexts
The approach is rather broad, but I'm particularly interested in
papers that look at the texts within the broader contexts of the MS,
the time, the location & situation of the MS, and the cultural
environment of trilingual England.
The deadline for proposals is 15 September 2008. For requirements
about paper proposals, please see
http://www.wmich.edu/medieval/congress/submissions.html#Paper
Thanks for your attention! Let's all hope for another good congress.
