Subject: Part Documentary/ Part Narrative Films
I am undertaking research into a Soviet sports film called 'Sport, Sport, Sport' by Elem Klimov which is a film which mixes documentary with fiction/fantasy elements. I am interested in researching into a number of threads re this film and would be interested if members of this list could help me with advice on any of the following:
1) other examples of films which merge documentary and fiction/fantasy sequences;
2) formally innovatory sports documentaries/ sports fiction films;
3) any studies (articles/ full-length books) which may be of use
Many thanks
Giuliano Vivaldi
