A postdoctoral research associate is required for a research project that explores the relationships between language and space/place in the novels of Wilson Harris and Maryse Condé.
The research associate will carry out linguistic and discursive analysis of six novels, in French and English, and catalogue the findings in a research booklet. With Dr Pat Noxolo, the post holder will also present the research at international conferences and contribute to its preparation for academic publication.
The position is tenable for a period of 7 months. It is funded by an AHRC research grant.
