While we're here, here's a Wikipedia page with enlargeable views of three further late medieval representations from Sweden of St. Olav of Norway. Because there is also a tenth-century king St. Olof of Sweden (celebrated today, as it happens) and because there is a tendency for saints whose cults have dwindled to be re-identified with more famous bearers of their names (and O. of Norway is a _very_ well known saint in Scandinavia as a whole) I had been reluctant to use these as visuals for O. of Norway. But at least one of the three, the one in the vault paintings of Överselö kyrka, is commonly so identified and both that and the one that follows have the saint holding an axe (one of O. of Norway's customary attributes):
