This is a translation from a grave in the old cemetery on the small Greek
Island of Kastellorizo. They are the words of the dead man's wife. His name
was Konstandinos Amygdalos, but I don't know his wife's.
At your marble grave
I have come to kneel,
To shed bitter tears,
Maybe also to resurrect you.
I think it has a darkness about it that I appreciate.
