Dear Keith,
on the other hand, Victor's comment provides space for early career
researchers and doctoral students to note, consider and respond to
the discussion (even as lurkers) in order to more critically select
journals that might provide opportunities for the kinds of work that
speaks to other than the dominant discourses in design (however this
may be defined), particularly in these trans-disciplinary times.
Deirdre and Gavin's work seeks to survey the field so that we might
be better equipped to make informed judgements about where to launch
new work, rather than aspire and conform to journals that
traditionally hold sway, and perhaps limit, the field/s.
