CACI have shown themselves to be very sensitive about their role in Abu Graib and have actually produced book to defend their role. Their US website states:
**********************************************************
In April 2004, an illegally leaked U.S. Army report thrust CACI, an information technology and professional services company, into the international spotlight by casting suspicion on a CACI employee for being "either directly or indirectly responsible" for the mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. At the same time, pictures from the dismal and overcrowded prison depicting the abuses were shown on national television and tarnished anyone associated with Abu Ghraib — including CACI.
What ensued was a media frenzy rarely seen by any company in recent decades. The media twisted the unsupported allegations into a guilty verdict without regard for the facts or the truth, creating a damning public perception of CACI. Our Good Name recounts how CACI battled to defend itself against erroneous and malicious reports by a rampaging media, how it responded to the wide-ranging government investigations, and how it overcame misplaced anger and criticism that put the company’s dedicated employees and excellent reputation — even its future — at risk.
Faced with constant accusations, exaggerations, and false reports, CACI refused to allow the media storm and uninformed opportunists to drag it down. The company condemned the behavior depicted in the infamous prison photos. If any employee had been culpable of any wrongdoing, the company would respond forcefully and accordingly, but only adhering to the rule of law. There would be no witch hunts, no lynch mobs, and no kangaroo courts.
Spearheaded by its long-time leader, chairman, president, and CEO Dr. J. Phillip London, the company mounted a concentrated campaign to address the allegations and make the facts known. CACI used innovative methods of crisis management and consistent communications to push back against the distortions and mistakes. CACI would also rely upon its long-established, proven culture of ethics and integrity to direct its activities and set the record straight.
Our Good Name is CACI’s story of facing one of the biggest scandals in recent history ...and coming out honorably with its head held high.

Dear All
Several US military contractors seem to be trying to make money out of
social statistics in the UK. The most nauseating example is CACI who
produce the ACORN geodemographics classification which has been
purchased by many UK Social Surveys (for example the Family Resources
Survey used to produce poverty statistics - HBAI).
The UK CACI website gives a reassuringly professional market research
image (see http://www.caci.co.uk/acorn/). However the companies parent
US website (http://www.caci.com/) reveals its military connections and
regularly advertises for interrogators for Iraq and Afghanistan.
CACI had the contract for the interrogators in Abu Ghraib prison who
according to the US Army were directly responsible for some of the abuse
and torture which occurred.
For example the US Army investigation stated that;
Stephanowicz, a CACI interrogator, "[m]ade a false statement to the
investigation team regarding the locations of his interrogations, the
activities during his interrogations, and his knowledge of abuses."
Further, investigators found, Stephanowicz encouraged Military Police to
terrorize inmates, and "clearly knew his instructions equated to
physical abuse."
see http://s3.amazonaws.com/corpwatch.org/downloads/taguba.pdf
The Observer reported that;
"It was also alleged that CACI interrogators used dogs to scare
prisoners, placed detainees in unauthorised 'stress positions' and
encouraged soldiers to abuse prisoners."
see http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2005/jan/16/usa.iraq
The Bush administration passed a law giving immunity to contractors from
prosecution for any crime committed in Iraq. However, torture and war
crimes are subject to universal jurisdiction so the perpetrators may not
escape justice forever.
CACI is a company that was prepared to torture prisoners in order to
make a fast buck in Iraq. Why is the Office for National Statistics
purchasing geodemographic products from a company like this?
