Dear Colleagues,
The next European Space Weather Week takes place in Brussels on 17-21 November 2008. It will be centred around six plenary sessions as follows:
1. Space Weather and the European Approach to Space Situational Awareness
2. Global Navigation Satellite Systems : Science, user needs and applications
3. Offshore Drilling and Geomagnetism : Science, user needs and applications
4. Space Weather Models: from Research to Operations
5. New and Existing Data, Catalogues, Tools and Services
6. Solar Weather: new results, analysis techniques, forecast tools and the outlook for users
I would like to encourage anyone interested in building links between STP science and its many space weather applications to attend and give a talk or poster. The on-line system for submission of abstracts has now opened and will close on 1 September.
There is also an open call to propose splinter sessions during the week. This closes on 20th June.
For much more information, including the on-line systems for submission of abstracts and splinter proposals, please see the ESWW5 website:

Best wishes,
