That would be an aliasing problem, which is possibly the problem here but
it didn't sound like it from the way Mark described it. But it's quite
possible I misunderstood what Mark was saying. So on the aliasing front,
should it be this problem, if you go to:
Other --> General Options
and uncheck the "Contour to unaliased peaks" box and then blank out the
minimum and maximum aliased frequencies (blank means that the fundamental
region is used) in the place that Justin mentions and then save and then
re-start the aliased image will go away.
