Subject: Of potential interest to MA in Cultural memory students
Dear Margaret,
I'm attaching a poster about a Round Table discussion at UCL next Friday
that may be of interest to students of the MA in Cultural Memory?
Director Ariadna Pujol will be discussing her first film, Aguaviva, an
amazing documentary, filmed after living for 18 months in Aguaviva - a
rural Catalan village immigrant families had been invited to come and
live in (effectively to repopulate it).
Its a wonderful film about the effects of migration and changing
cultural memories (the aging inhabitants memories of Civil War / the
'in-comers' memories of the places and people they have left behind...).
Much recommended - film viewing at 4pm, discussion from 6pm - details on
poster attached,
All best, Jo
