Dear All
My query is directed specifically at Centaur users but I guess it might
equally apply to other platforms.
Most kit inserts for Centaur methods state that the analyte is only
stable at room temperature for 8 hr. We receive many samples, from GPs
in particular, which exceed this time limit before processing. Clearly
the work has not been done by the manufacturer for them to state any
more than this and as has been mentioned in previous postings we are
legally constrained by CE marking.
How are other Centaur users dealing with this problem? Have any of you
done your own stability studies? Are you simply refusing to measure any
of the analytes not within the stated stability limits.
Thanks for any input
Best wishes
