medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
When I was a grad student at Cornell, Mount Savior monastery outside
Elmira did an easter Vigil service that culminated at sunrise with the
Gloria.
Is that in Benedictine tradition or a borrowing from the East?
