Dear Zooarchers,
I wonder if you can help me? I am looking for examples of Roman, medieval or post-medieval sites in Europe, that have archaeological evidence for the presence of tortoises (particularly Testudo sp.) outside of their considered natural range.
Many thanks in advance
Richard
