medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

[log in to unmask]:
says that it was published(?) in 2004, with a subtitle:
Hospitäler zwischen Maas und Rhein im Mittelalter. Typologische,
topographische, funktionale und spirituelle Aspekte. Habilitationsschrift,
Luxemburg / Trier 2004
-----------------------------
well, maybe, :-)
but the book I have in front of me says (as does www.amazon.de):
Franz Steiner Verlag Stuttgart 2007
Forword mentions that the author worked on a project researching "hospitals"
from the early middle ages to about 1500 together with Prof. Dr. Franz
Irsigler from 1997 until 2002. From that project the author produced a
habilitation as well as his dissertation.
Anyway it's a pretty thick book - about 500 pages - and before I'll start
with it I will relax with Stephan Baxter's "Time Tapestry book three: Navigator"
covering nearly the same time period :-)
Yours
Roland Geiger
