Curiously there is a late 50s revivals of sorts going on in Russia with the
recent release of Mikhalkov's 'Twelve' a remake of a 1957 American Civil
Rights-era classic Twelve Angry Men, except that the action here is
contemporary and the accused kid is a Chechen. Does anyone know whether
there have been any other remakes of Twelve Angry Men in other countries as
it seems to remain a popular play in Australia.
