The programme is particularly suitable for people who have an interest in
contributing to health policy by understanding the need to provide good
quality evidence to support healthcare decision-making. The programme is
for people who wish to learn how to put evidence from diverse sources
together through production of high quality evidence synthesis. Students
can come from anywhere in the world and from a wide range of disciplines
including (but not limited to) Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and other
Health Professionals, Biochemistry, Physiology, Sport and Exercise
Science, Economics and Statistics.

Duration
We understand the pressures of balancing work and home life and therefore
this programme is offered on a flexible basis. You can study it as a full-
time 1 year programme, or on a part-time basis between 2 and 6 years
(teaching is in block week sessions). If you are unable to commit to the
full Masters course, you can also take the shorter qualifications of
Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate. Individual modules are
also available that can be taken with or without the assessment, to
further your knowledge and build on skills for your future career.
Credits gained from assessed modules may be used towards a full
qualification at a later stage, if required.
