Silver Surfer's Day Workshop in Bath (April 9)
Running a Silver Surfers' Day Event doesn't require specialist knowledge; it's easy and fun with our free resources. But, for those who'd like some extra support and inspiration, we've been offered a Westcountry venue for a workshop.
BATH WORKSHOP is on Wednesday , April 9, 1.30-4pm
Thanks to Bath Central Library, we're able to offer this workshop to 45 participants from any organisation.
This invaluable 'mini-workshop' will walk you through the various tasks associated with running a successful Silver Surfers' Day Event/s, large or small, on or around May 23 this year. There will be a 45-minute presentation from Digital Unite with advice on how to plan, who you need to have in place, how to publicise, how to use the Learning Modules online, how to give your over-50s visitors the best experience possible and how to make sure everyone enjoys themselves on the Day. It will give you a chance to meet other potential event-holders and share best practice.
Nominal charge of GBP25 per person (GBP45 for two from the same organisation) to cover our admin costs. Timing will be from 1.30-4pm with a break for tea and time for networking. First come, first served, so please respond as quickly as you can, to [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> with details of name, job title, organisation, email address.
