medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Exactly, Henk; for once we agree. As someone who accidentally got
dragged into this forgery mess by exposing one of the major scams
even before the original article on it appeared -- I can tell
everyone out here that what you are doing is aiding and abetting the
money-grubbers and the con men who treat John and Jane Doe as cash
cows to be milked.
They call what you are doing "academic debate"! It's their favorite
term for bringing each fake back to the public -- yet again.
While mentioning yet another "documentary" released to coincide with
Easter for general amusement is one thing, continued discussion is another.
George, there is a big difference between a rant and disgust with the
con artists. If you look again, you just might find that the
scientific details are given. That is why I chose that particular
site instead of trying to locate Joe Nichols article (a known expert
on forgeries) or articles in Scientific American or Nature.
BTW, National Geographic refused to have anything to do with the
disgusting "Tomb" thing. Unlike BBC or Discovery, NG has ethics and
is very serious about fact-checking.
Henk is absolutely right!
Unless you want to discuss the film as a film, it does no good and may do harm.
Tired of fighting con artists,
Rochelle
