Someone was just telling me that the other variation on this--packing eggs to drop off a university balcony--had become impossible as an assignment because it is so standard that there are now many websites devoted to how to do it right the first try. It no longer elicits creative consideration and iterative design from students; they just look it up and follow the recipe.
