medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
As I was losing myself in the "romanes" website, I noticed two things. There was an attack on the treasure of Tournai and a cross was stolen, display cases were smashed, etc, etc. And there is a wonderful array of pictures of the splendid former priory of Saints Benedict and Peter at Perrecy-les-Forges:

The latter may be of interest to those seeking evidence/images of painted stone. I don't recall such vivid colors from my several visits, but I did not have the access to the sculpture of the photographer. I envy his privileged position to get such great close-ups. One can see the sculpture better on the website than in person.
