Washing the body, perhaps, with the water being heated in the cauldron at right. If the
bakers in the other two "signature" panels were part of a confraternity, this image might
represent one of the typical objectives of a confraternity, namely the proper burial of their
members -- rather than, say, representing a confraternity of undertakers.
