National Pathology Week, 3rd - 9th November 2008
The ACB is keen to work with RCPath during its launch of National Pathology
Week and Exec has asked Katy Cooper (as chair of the trainees committee),
Joe O'Meara (Government Affairs Officer) and Gilbert Wieringa to
co-ordinate our support. In response to the College's 29th Jan email
inviting expressions of interest in participating, we will be inviting
suggestions/initiatives that can best be led by our regional ACB trainee
representatives. These ideas will also feed into those submitted to the
College.
Please see the week as an opportunity to promote pathology and raise
awareness of its contributions. The ACB team are working closely with the
College team to collate all emerging ideas and in the production of
promotional material/slides. It is anticipated that this venture will
become a calendar fixture and to broaden in scope in coming years.
