medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear all,
I am a new member of the list (I wrote my Ph.D. a year ago about canonization processes in the Baltic Sea rim) and already have a question:
I am currently teaching a course on female mysticism at Hamburg University, and one of my students wants to write a thesis about Elizabeth of Spaalbek/Herkenrode. She already found the translation of the Vita in Elizabeth Spearing, Female writings on medieval spirituality. This one is obviously from a middle english version of the vita, but I can't find either that one or the latin original (BHL Nr. 2484).
Does anyone know if there's an edition of the latin text - or at least a complete translation?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Cordelia Hess
