In the days of the SAS (hormones) (Supragional Assay Service) the SAS
laboratory directors (of which I was one) organized, published and
distributed throughout the UK a handbook setting out such guidelines
(together with a brief indication of the circumstances in which
individual assays would be of clinical value, and expected ranges).
I retain a couple of copies, and it would be a relatively simple
matter to scan the pages and to place them on a website administered
by the ACB. Would this be useful?
