medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
That type of spire is notable in Rouen, Saint-Ouen and Saint-Maclou are good examples, especially the latter. I just thought it was typical of what is called flamboyant Gothic, but I'm sure this will cause as much difficulty as: Romanesque; Gothic; cabinet... Saint-Ouen's spire is graced with the ducal crown of Normandy; that may be part of your spire (not necessarily "of Normandy"!) As for dates and other specifics you were looking for, I'm afraid I'm no help. Good luck and Happy New Year,
MG
