While preparing a teaching session on confidence intervals I found Geoff
Cummings' website
ESCI - Exploratory Software for Confidence Intervals
http://www.latrobe.edu.au/psy/esci/.
Geoff has built some Excel spreadsheets that simulate what happens if a
study is replicated. I found it fascinating to see how 95% confidence
intervals jump around the population mean.
I know of a few web-based simulations, but they are much less effective
than Geoff's, so I thought others on this list might want to take a look
at them.
Geoff is an Australian psychologist --- but I wouldn't hold this against
him :-)
