Subject: e-Assessment Survey - request for participation from the e-Assessment Association
With apologies for cross postings. There is a joint project underway between the Qualification Regulators in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, with support from their colleagues in Scotland, that has resulted in a published 'Guide to Effective Practice in e-Assessment' (www.efutures.org/graphics/index.html). This guide includes the outline for five units towards a Level Three award in e-Testing. The units that make up the Award form part of the new Teacher Qualifications Framework being developed by Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK), and are integrated directly with the key e-testing roles that the guide sets out. The embryonic e-Assessment Association ( www.e-assessmentassociation.com ) have been asked to provide a survey of expectations and requirements from those working in the field of e-Assessment, or in fields closely associated with it, for such an Award. We would greatly appreciate if you would take five minutes to answer the nine questions in the attached survey form (and fax or post to the address below) or complete the identical questionnaire on the website www.test-ed.co.uk Your co-operation in completing the survey is greatly appreciated, and will help inform and influence policy in this area. The survey should take little more than five minutes to complete. If there are any questions please do hesitate to contact us on +544 7785 920392 or [log in to unmask] Colin Deal & Jeff Ross, Award Survey Team, 5 St Catherine's Road, BROXBOURNE Herts.
