Dear Colleagues
Please note the updated Frontiers in Laboratory Medicine Programme is available on
www.acb.org.uk/site/film.asp . It now includes details of the
Modernising Scientific Careers (MSC) satellite workshop to be held on
31st January. Workforce issues will be among the top challenges facing
clinical laboratories in 2008 and beyond. The MSC programme aims to
restructure the education and training of all healthcare scientists to
provide a common framework that ensures equity of access and secures the
healthcare scientist workforce of the future. This workshop is a unique
opportunity to hear more and to challenge and discuss the programme with
Professor Sue Hill, DH Chief Scientific Officer, and Professor Shelley
Heard, MSC programme director.
Best wishes
Jeff
