medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear All,
A session accepted for next summer's International Medieval Congress at Leeds (7-10 July 2008) and now entitled 'Acre in the Crusader Period: Archaeology and Architecture' could use an additional twenty-minute scholarly paper. This paper could examine some other aspect of the history or culture of Crusader-period Acre/Akko/Ptolemais or it could expand the session's archaeological or architectural focus to some other locale(s) in the Crusader states of the Levant. Proposals including both a paper title and an abstract of 100 words or fewer should be submitted via the online Paper Proposal Form at:
http://imc.leeds.ac.uk/imcapp/Submit/PaperProposalForm.jsp
Use the beginning of the 'Abstract' space to indicate that the proposal is for session 2550.

Please feel free to share this notice with others. Prompt submission may result in the special immortality that only a listing in the IMC's programme book can confer.
With best wishes,
