Hi,
We use the student candidate number in an attempt to support anonymous
marking, but given that we have transparent e-mail addresses, it is easy
for a tutor to click on 'students' and identify students by name.
Kind regards
Martin

Subject: Re: TurnitinUK and anonymous submissions
Hi there
I couldn't vouch that all our academic staff ARE doing this (!) but I
always recommend that they use the students' registration number - which
is the way that our anonymous marking is also intended to work. It will
allow an originality report to be assigned back to the student if need
be, but works in the right sprit, I think.

Subject: TurnitinUK and anonymous submissions
Hello,
I was hoping to find out how those who use TurnitinUK and are required
to do anonymous marking of work are doing it.
I am aware that various institutions are increasingly required to do
anonymous marking of work but as TurnitinUK associates each submission a
student makes with their name its seems extremely difficult.
I would appreciate your views, feedback and experiences with this.
Regards,
Janice
