If an item (or room or equipment or learning advisor) is set up for
hourly loans, staff can specify start and end time of bookings right
down to the minute, e.g. 10:16am to 10:31am. There may be problems of
adjacent bookings but in staff mode most things can be overridden (too
easily in my way of thinking!)
In you allow patrons to self-book an item etc. booking periods are
offered in 10 minute slots.

We haven't tried this because our bookings are allied to a room key check-out and this is limited to Millennium's hourly or daily loan. However, I know that staff can override a default booking time and I have successfully tested this by booking a 1 hour room for 15 minutes. So, I think that it might work via Millennium. But bookings via the webpac probably won't be successful (the calendar display is hourly or daily). And I'm not sure that times can be overriden via the webpac (we only book in Millennium and have our webpac as view only).

The Manual says you can book in Hours upwards but is it possible to book in smaller slots? We were hoping to use it for 15 min sessions with learning advisors. Can anyone tell me if you use it for anything similar?
