"UK Biobank say they want half a million participants to help them study
the prevention of cancer, heart attacks, strokes and diabetes - and
individuals have been selected to take part on the basis of their
existing NHS records."
The implication is that UK Biobank has access to a large number of
existing NHS records if they could sort through them to find suitable
patients for their studies.
Does anyone know what access they do have?
