We are seeking a Research Assistant/Associate to work in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, in the Division of Epidemiology, Public Health and Primary Care at the St Mary's campus, Paddington.
This is an exciting opportunity for a statistician to join the INTERMAP study, a major international research programme on macro- and micronutrient intakes and blood pressure funded by the USA National Institutes of Health, and to provide input into related studies in the area of cardiovascular epidemiology. You will be based in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health which has responsibility for data management, coordination and analysis of the study. You will use SAS and other software to manage and analyse data, and to produce descriptive and analytical statistics using data from INTERMAP and other sources.
You will have a MSc or equivalent research experience (Research Assistant) or PhD or equivalent (Research Associate) in Statistics or a related field or equivalent experience. You will have Experience in the use of SAS or equivalent statistical software.
The post is full-time for 12 months (maternity cover).
